We couldn’t have asked for better weather for a Trail Work Day. The bugs were few, the temperatures mild compared to the recent heat, there was a breeze, and we got to start the day off with fresh homemade doughnuts and perked coffee.
All in all it was a great day and much was accomplished by our volunteers who work diligently to keep these trails open and safe. Many trail blazes were renewed and new blazes were added. The blazes along with some clearing efforts that will keep the marker stakes from being overgrown should make it easy for hikers to stay on the path.
